Leading Industry Companies Leverage Northwest’s Largest Foodservice Show

(Wilsonville, OR) – Tradeshow management today released the current but growing list of industry sponsors for the largest foodservice industry show in the Pacific Northwest. Sponsorship of the 2007 Northwest Foodservice Show, April 1 and 2 at the Oregon Convention Center, means highlighting their business to thousands of industry professionals from throughout the northwest US and Canada.

Liberty Northwest Insurance, a major carrier of workers’ compensation and product & liability insurance and associated business services products, has committed to Show Presenting Sponsorship. Food Services of America stepped up as Presenting Sponsor for the Chef’s Demonstration Pavilion on the Show floor, and as Education Program Presenting Sponsor. Each involves a major investment in return for acknowledgement and exposure during the course of pre-, during- and post-Show promotion.

Denise Moore, Hospitality Program Director for Liberty Northwest, noted “This is our second consecutive Portland show for being Presenting Sponsor – it supports not only our broad relationship with over 1,100 Oregon restaurants, but also helps bring together the 300+ exhibiting companies and 12,000-14,000 attendees to learn about products and services to make them better and more profitable businesses. We are proud to support the industry in a way that provides so much impact.”

Meanwhile, Jim Reynolds, director of marketing for Foodservice of America, mirrored those same sentiments, highlighting their company’s roots as the largest northwest-based broadline distributor. “Whether supporting the northwest restaurant industry through our Dining Out In The Northwest program (www.diningoutnorthwest.com) or playing a major role in bringing business-developing chef and education programs, FSA is committed to the success of our northwest restaurant partners,” he noted.

Additional sponsors for the various activities involved with the Northwest Foodservice Show include education program sponsors Shari’s Management Corporation and Mt. Hood Chemical. More opportunities that provide tie-in options for exhibiting companies can be obtained by contacting Oregon Restaurant Association business development director Bob Petow (503/682-4422; petow@ora.org).
