Northwest Foodservice Show Unveils 2006 Web Site

Free registration available to foodservice, lodging and hospitality professionals until April 7

[Wilsonville, OR] The Northwest Foodservice Show—the largest gathering of restaurant-and-hospitality industry professionals in the Pacific Northwest—has been a must-attend regional event since 1962, and promises to be again this year. To keep attendees and the media up-to-date with the latest information about the coming show, scheduled for April 30 – May 2, 2006 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, the Show today unveiled online registration on its Web site at www.nwfoodserviceshow.com.

Attendees can also make hotel reservations, view a complete list of exhibiting companies, find other local attractions and restaurant listings, and check out the free seminar schedule, all in one location.

“Most people today use the Internet to find news and information, so this year’s Show Web site is a ‘one-stop shop’ for everything Show-related,” said Washington Restaurant Association President and Chief Executive Officer Gene Vosberg, FMP. “The site is continuously updated, and features seminar and chef demonstration stage schedules, an exhibitor list, exhibitor information, new product information, lodging information, and online registration. I highly encourage everyone to bookmark the site to keep abreast of all the exciting components of the 2006 Show.’

Programming highlights for the 2006 Show include a Northwest Chef Competition, Northwest Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilion, and the New Product Pavilion. The educational seminars include topics such as Life’s a Sales Call: How to Guarantee Successes for Your Life-by Jack Warkenthien, Restaurant Leadership Skills, and Menu Engineering. Don’t miss the Oregon Culinary Tourism Association sponsored symposium on Culinary Tourism in conjunction with the show. More details on registration, programming, speakers, educational seminars and other highlights of the Show can be found on the Show website.

More than 12,000 attendees visit the Northwest Foodservice Show each year, which is jointly sponsored by the Washington and Oregon Restaurant Associations. Along with over 3,000 exhibitors, this equals more than 15,000 foodservice professionals under one roof for the three-day event. More details can be found at www.nwfoodserviceshow.com.
